Remembering Thomas
"Thomas Ross LaFever II. What a wonderful, amazing, caring, and kind-hearted boy he was. He had a light in him—a love for life and people—that touched everyone fortunate enough to cross his path."
On September 30, 2024, Thomas's journey took an unexpected turn. That morning, during Spirit Week, a motorcycle accident changed everything. Though EMTs performed CPR for 15 minutes and brought him back, the injuries were too severe. On October 3, 2024, Thomas became a hero in a different way—as an organ donor.
His final gifts were profound: a kidney to a 48-year-old man, another to a 30-year-old woman, and the gift of sight to someone who had lived in darkness. Even in his passing, Thomas continued his legacy of helping others.
A certified welder at a young age, Thomas embodied determination and skill. His love for helping others, his role as a protector, and his pure kindness defined who he was. His story now serves as an inspiration—driving our mission to promote CPR training, advocate for motorcycle safety, and champion organ donation.
"Rest easy, sweet boy. You are loved beyond measure and missed more than words can ever express." - Momma
